Here is something I’ve just received and it’s making me VERY HAPPY. Because it’s SO WEIRD!
Subject: Impending musical disaster
“Hi friends. I probably already sent you this flier about my Oct 23 gig. This is a reminder, but I have to mention something.
When I booked the gig, I did not yet have an accompanist. My first 2 choices for guitarists were both already booked for the evening, so I sent out an E-mail to every guitar player I know, offering them the gig, and saying that it would go to the first person who responded and said they wanted to do it……
And here is Winter, the tailless dolphin. She was very sweet. Her fascinating trainer Kammie came to our show tonight. Earlier in the day while visiting the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, she sent Winter down to our window to say a special hello to us….
This is Hope, a one year old orphan dolphin. I got to meet her today at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Brian and Kammie hooked us up with a behind the scenes tour of the facility, which included injured and sick turtle rehab, and Nick the high flying dolphin. They also are home to Winter, the no tail having dolphin currently made famous by a new Hollywood dolphin movie I was peripherally aware of. I will visit them again, my new friends, man and beast.
